How Circuit Works

Circuit is attendance memory for recurring events. One loop, five moving parts.

01

The Core Loop

Every event follows the same cycle: invite guests, check them in at the door, recognise their attendance, unlock rewards based on return visits, and watch them come back. Circuit tracks each step automatically — you run the event, Circuit remembers who showed up.

02

The Door

Check-in is the moment of truth. Search for a guest by name, tap to mark them attended, and move on. Walk-ins get added on the spot. Self-check-in via QR is available when you can't staff the door. NFC tap-in works for venues with physical tokens. Every check-in method writes to the same attendance ledger.

03

Core Members

A core member is someone who has attended three or more times within a rolling 90-day window. This isn't a badge or a reward — it's a continuity signal. Core count is the single most important number on your dashboard. When it drops, your regulars are drifting.

04

Recognition

After each event, Circuit sends a recognition email to attendees: 'You've been 4 times.' No badges, no gamification — just a factual record. Unlock rules let you attach real rewards (drink tokens, priority entry, merch) to attendance milestones. Guests see their recognition page at any time.

05

Pro Tools

Pro unlocks tools for organisers with returning audiences. Unlimited events, unlock rules for attendance-based recognition, at-risk identification to spot lapsing regulars, retention insights, series management for recurring events, and 10 AI credits per month.

06

Venue Mode

For programming managers running a venue with multiple formats. Venue mode adds an organisation account, a venue overview with cross-format metrics and return rate comparisons. See which formats drive repeat attendance and which are one-offs. All Pro features are included.

07

Operator Mode

For multi-location programmes, operator mode adds regional overview, multi-location management, and enterprise API access. Locations group events geographically. The enterprise API exposes attendance facts for CRM and BI integration.
